Enzo and I met another trainer for an outing at the park. We are working on his focus (on me) and his reactivity to other dogs. We start with circles to get his focus on me, bump bump bump. Then when he’s paying attention to me, we walk bigger circles near the other dog. Eventually he realizes that the other dog is not a problem and he doesn’t have to meet them. He can be close without fear because he trusts that I won’t let anything get him. Big day for Enzo! I tried to teach him hopscotch but he had trouble staying in the lines!
