Eisbar is at a pivotal age where it’s important to set boundaries and challenge his self control. One of my rules is “No dogs in my kitchen when I cook”! He can choose to stand and watch or he can go settle in his bed. This teaches him that everything isn’t his for the taking and also highly reduces counter surfing! It also keeps them safe from hot ovens and anything that may fall on him during food prep.
