Chula did well with people coming and going yesterday during our trainer meeting. I always ask my guests to ignore my dog before they come in. This ensures that Chula doesn’t get any attention when she’s in an excited state of mind, and reinforces that people coming through the door are here to see me first. When she’s calm, then she can be petted. After a few rounds of scratches, she was happy to settle while we talked dogs. Good girl Chula!
