Chula joined me for a trip to Lowe’s to socialize and practice manners in a new place. She was a little uncertain at first, but I stayed calm and confident so she could relax knowing I wasn’t nervous. She hung out while I shopped. She also got practice being petted by new people. I ask anyone petting her to let her sniff their hand first so she isn’t overwhelmed. She’s learning very quickly that new people mean lots of pets and scratches. She even gave kisses to a little boy who asked to pet her. Great job Chula!
