Chula is a bossy girl who thinks she runs the house. By claiming my space over and over at doorways, on walks, and around objects, I show her everything is mine and I’m the ONLY one in charge. If she tries to hop on the furniture without being invited, I tell her “OFF” and make her move. After a walk with Rudy this morning, she got invited up. She also has to sit before getting up. Chula is interested in watching birds and squirrels right outside, but I intercept with a “eh-eh!” before she gets overly excited. Rudy helps set the example and she is happy to just hang.
