Chessie learned that leash manners still apply no matter where we go or who we’re with. It’s important to stay relaxed with a short leash. Keeping her slightly behind me puts me in the leadership position and tells her, “Don’t worry, I got this!” These techniques take practice, so all of our graduates are encouraged to join us each week to ask questions and built confidence.
