Boomer is working on walking politely in the neighborhood without pulling, lunging, or barking at people and cars. Lana joined us on the walk to help Boomer pick up on her calm energy. He sees that dogs follow their human leader on a walk. At the end of the walk, they practice staying in a down in the driveway. Down is a vulnerable position because it means he can’t have his guard up all the time, but Boomer knows he doesn’t have anything to worry about.
