p dir=”ltr”>I go up and down this hallway a thousand times a day! I keep a baby gate across it when I’m in the front of the house but just move it when I want to go back there for a minute. I ask the dogs to "wait", use a palm down angle with my hands and use the floor piece as a physical reminder. This means that the dogs can do ANYTHING but cross that line! They can sit, go lay down, walk away, or stand on their head! If they start down the hall I use a verbal "eh eh", if that doesn’t back them up I use a sweeping motion with my arms and shoo them back. Rinse and repeat until they get the point, "Don’t follow, I’ll be right back". Blue and Quincey (background dog) get it, Keeper is learning! Good lesson kids!
