Blaze has been making a lot of dog and human friends. To introduce new dogs they first do drills together. This helps to mentally and physically tire them out so they can meet calmly. Having them follow commands together also shows them that I’m in charge so they don’t have to worry about what’s around them. Lowering their energy promotes a calm greeting and calm play.
