Baron is a hunting dog that kinda only knows two things…hunting when he’s loose and sleeping when he’s kenneled. So, we are working on giving him other options when he’s loose. After he’s had some exercise, we practice chilling out in the house. If he stays in his own space (not jumping all over me, counters or furniture like a mad man), he gets calm scratches. He also learns that a soft bed is pretty nice to relax on.
