Barley is settling into the routine of the house and working on door manners. She can’t push by me through any thresholds, including doorways, gates, the car, crate, or any other threshold. She is learning to sit calmly and wait for me to invite her into my space. The same rule applies whether we are coming or going, no matter where we are. Barley’s learning she has to check up with her human before moving forward.
