When we come inside, it’s time to be calm and settle on a spot. Barley can lie on her bed or the floor, but no matter where she is, she needs to be settling down. She stays busy with a toy until she fully relaxes. This is a helpful activity for potty training because I know where she is at all times. If she hops up, I lead her right back to her spot. If she seems too antsy or runs to the door, then I know she probably needs to go out.
