Barley joined me yesterday for a walk around downtown Fayetteville Street at Artsplosure. She got lots of practice getting petted by new people and practiced self control around a crowd. Before she received attention, I explained she was in training not to jump and asked people to stop petting her if her feet came off the ground. With so many people saying hello, it was a perfect setup for Barley to learn! When I wanted to stop and look at things, she would politely wait in a sit or down. What a good girl!
