Barkley started out spending some time in the bathtub inside, hosing down with a portable shower handle so he understood that baths are a time to be calm. It took a lot of practice and patience while exposing him to water indoors and out. After watching the other dogs play in the water, Barkley soon found out how much fun it can be. He has soon realized even being hosed down outside feels good! He has advanced to lying down in the pool. This is Barkley’s favorite spot…his only complaint? We need a bigger pool!
