Barclay is working on several things during meal time. First he has to hold a sit with the other dogs while food is scooped, then he has to wait to hear his release word "all done" to have permission to eat, and finally he has to respect each dog’s space around their bowl and not steal food! Whew! That’s a self control exercise for a food motivated dog!! This activity also shows all the dogs that you are in complete control so that they don’t make decisions on their own and have tiffs amongst themselves.
