Baloo had a great day! He got a visit from his human pack, then created a new one during Loose Leash Class today. The best way to introduce dogs is during the walk. It burns off their energy first while allowing them to “pack up” along with their human leader(s). Only after they are nice and tired should the sniff & play part begin. The introduction happens in a more calm, relaxed, and safe way which all dogs (and humans) prefer! Don’t rush or assume all dogs want to meet or play. Sometimes you just want a drink at the bar without being hit on! Body language says it all!
