Rosie had a blast on our hike on the Honeycutt Creek Trail today! She practiced holding sit and down until released, but most important followed along behind me! If she got excited by a squirrel or other people with dogs passing, I’d quickly tell her “eh eh”, keeping her behind me and moving forward. Leaders are always in front, and Rosie is learning to follow. Being a follower is easy because she doesn’t have to make any decisions. I’m in control, and I’m taking care of everything. Good girl!
